Prerequisites
It is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure they meet all the pre-requisites and provide documented evidence to that effect PRIOR to course commencement. Failure to do so could result in forfeit of all costs and course attendance.

Who is this course suitable for?
Anyone looking to continue working in the offshore renewable energy industry. Everyone is expected to hold a valid, in date GWO Enhanced first aid certificate which must be refreshed every 2 years by completing a 2day Enhanced first aid course. This Enhanced First aid refresher gives delegates additional knowledge and skills to be able to administer safe, effective and immediate lifesaving and enhanced first aid measures to save lives and give assistance in remote areas using emergency equipment and medical tele-consultation.
Learning Outcomes
To learn to administer safe and effective First Aid in the Wind Industry environment in accordance with GWO Enhanced First Aid training through theoretical and practical training.
At the end of this course, you will be able to
Support and care for others that are working in the renewable industry by possessing the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform enhanced first aid. Upon completion of the GWO enhanced first aid course delegates will be able to administer safe, effective and immediate lifesaving enhanced first aid measures to not only save lives but to also give assistance in remote areas using more advanced equipment than a basic first aid would allow and conducting medical tele-consultation and ongoing monitoring.
Assessment
Will be a mix of theory written and practical assessment
Certification
After successfully completing this course delegates will be issued with a GWO First Aid certificate and a GWO Enhanced First Aid certificate both of which will be valid for 2 years and uploaded to your WINDA Account
