Here at OPS-Training and OPS-Wind we have a mixture of Tri-Service ex-military personnel who have been through their own resettlement and transition process and can pass on their personnel experiences and assist with information advice and guidance.

The first step to any career in the wind industry is ensuring you have the certifications required. The Global Wind Organisation (GWO) sets the international standard for safety training and emergency procedures in the global wind industry.

All offshore personnel in the wind industry are required to complete the minimum level of basic safety training which includes:

Working at Height & Manual Handling CombinedBFRS Member
First Aid
Sea Survival
Fire Awareness
Basic Technical Training Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Bolt Tightening
Advance Rescue Training
Enhanced First Aid

The last Course that would benefit you and is not included in the level 3 course is:

Slinger Signaller

You will also need to attend and pass an OGUK Medical with Chester Step
